5.The diagonals of a rhombus are 7.5 cm and 12 cm. Find its area.

Answer :

Given,d1 = 7.5 cm, d2 = 12 cm Area of a rhombus =\( \frac { 1 }{ 2 } x (product of diagonals)\)

\(=\frac{1}2\times (d1\times d2)\)

\(=\frac{1}2\times (7.5 \times 12)\)

\(=7.5\times 6\)

\(=45 cm^2\)

So the area of rhombus=45 \(cm^2\)
